Starting off, it is important to know that the only activity to being part of IFRD is to  – JUST RIDE. This is the IFRD call-to-action and credo sitting at the soul of IFRD. Get out there and show your beautiful, unique self! And whether that’s on a dirt bike, a cruiser, a sport bike, trike or scooter – all forms, all brands – just ride! The action is a global ride in synchronicity with women motorcyclists in over +120 countries!

IFRD #atFXCHD

This is a women's only event! Join up with Jessica Caprara, our General Manager, and Dawn Fontaine, our Marketing and HOG Chapter Manager, for this event.

ALL BIKES WELCOME!! SCROLL DOWN FOR THE ROUTE!!

We'll be riding from FX Caprara Harley-Davidson over to Historic Thompson Park in Watertown, NY for a picnic lunch - taking the long way of course! The route will be about 40 miles of easy roads going at or around the speed limit. We will park in the main parking lot (by the pool/zoo) and eat our picnic lunch at the stone pavilion across the street.

Where: Meet at FX Caprara Harley-Davidson

When: Saturday, May 6, 2023 (weather permitting)

Time: Mix and Mingle starting at 11:00am, Ride Briefing at 11:45, Kick Stands Up at 12:00pm

What to Bring: Yourself, appropriate Riding Gear, and a Picnic Lunch

Why: In addition to joining in with women around the world, remember it is you that is an important role model inspiring other women on IFRD! By being visible, you in your own unique way, inspire others and set an example of the diversity, the fun, and the penchant women share through this activity – motorcycling and motorsports

  • CELEBRATE the social, economic, and cultural motorsport achievements of women riders. Visibility and awareness help drive positive change for women, no matter the activity.
  • DECLARE with passion how you, as an person or organization help “ride forward” motorcycling for women. This “just ride” purposeful action can accelerate gender parity and alter perception; preconceived judgements or notions.

THE ROUTE

From FXCHD up 177 to Barns Corners to Copenhagen, then along SR12 for a bit to South Community Dr (162) to 126, down State Street Hill to SR3, turning left onto Park Dr., then round the round-about to Thompson Park!!

Bring your picnic lunch or grab one at the McDonalds that's by Kinney Drugs. All bikes welcome!!
