Fort Drum - home of the 10th Mountain Division - is literally right in FX Caprara Harley-Davidson's backyard. And the 10th Mountain Division is the most deployed unit in the US Military.
With that being said, you can see why we at FXCHD take the health and welfare of our service men & women very seriously. They are our family, neighbors, friends, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters.
Harley-Davidson is proud to continue our partnership with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) — a leading veteran service organization with a vision to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. Our collective focus is to raise funds and awareness for mental health challenges that many post-9/11 servicemen and women face.
And we are proud that Harley-Davidson has partnered with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) to raise funds and awareness for the mental health challenges that many servicemen and women face. Roughly one-third of our U.S. riders are veterans and together we can do more for those who have done so much for us.
H-D & WWP PARTNERSHIP
Peer-to-peer activities, like motorcycle riding, have been known to provide healing benefits for veterans managing posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Harley-Davidson remains committed to partnering with WWP to help provide important programs designed to assist warriors struggling with the invisible wounds of war and build support networks in our communities. Veterans with better social support have more positive mental health outcomes.
